On this day ten years ago I overheard high school students discuss the thrilling tale of a deafblind woman's escape from Nazi-occupied Europe. This turned out not to be some bit of history new to me but rather what happens when someone confuses Anne Frank with Helen Keller and adds a happy ending.

I never got to hear them discuss the results of the history exam they were studying for. I am pretty sure those results were epic.
