Oh wow... This is something special! I found an early pre-release version of "Castle of the Winds" .. v0.5.4. This was apparently released exclusively for Microsoft employees back in the day.
I think it's an awesome collector's piece! My gratitude goes to "iamxray" for his generous upload.
Here's where I found it:

Chevalier is a fun—if predictable—reimagining of 1980’s mech sci-fi like Battletech, Gundam, and Macross.
It’s a quick, action-packed read—not very deep but highly entertaining—that focuses on making mechs feel like realistic battlefield tech.
The worst part about being a transfemme building a homelab is that you're always thinking "I need a bigger rack"
The tech community
is historically LGBTQ+.
And cute AF.
Uphold tradition

I saw a guy at the airport with a shirt that said “SAVE THE MANUALS” and I thought “Hell yeah, brother! You may need to reference them in the future. Glad to see another fan of documentation.” Then I saw a weird symbol like an H with a | down the center, and I realized it was a dude who just really liked stick shift cars.
This happens often enough that whenever we lose late at night someone goes "another last match?" lmao
the worst part about being the kind of ADHD retrocomputerist that I am is that I'll look at my 30 tabs I have open (rookie numbers) and wonder if I can close... a page listing the original system requirements for Visual Basic 6, and go "actually, no, I still need that one".
ridiculous.
Another one for the collectors!

Fuck JK Rowling. Remember that buying any Harry Potter related products funds her transphobic and hateful actions like this.
